As Malaysia’s leading commodity trading company, we have taken the challenge to combat climate change by incorporating sustainability to its core operations and decision making. L7H is committed to the reduction of a specific emission of carbon dioxide to around 2.0 tCO2/tcs by 2030.

Saving Energy

At L7H, we strive to reduce the usage of fossil fuel energy by opting for energy efficient alternatives, green sources and other best practices of the industry. L7H is switching to more and more energy efficient alternatives and is cutting down on fossil fuel consumption by establishing more green energy resources.

Optimising Resources

As the requirement for resources increases, the requirement for raw materials will also increase. This inturn will increase the competition between different industries. Hence, L7H has a team to research and increase the efficiency in the use of raw materials ensuring long term capability of satisfying society’s ever growing demand.

With sustainability being critical in L7H’s approach, we make judicious use of our natural resources to attain operational excellence. The company continues to be a leader in innovation and responsible consumption through innovative practices thereby limiting environmental carbon footprint.

Saving Water

Availability of clean and safe water is essential to increase the quality of life. This would reduce associated problems with sanitation and increase the health condition of the community. As the demand grows, competition between industry for the resource will also grow. Thus at L7H we identified risks associated with water scarcity and are continuously working towards water conservation and reduction of water consumption in its operations.

Importance of Waste Management

Reduction of Waste means saving more resources. This is in line with the sustainability vision of L7H. The technical standards of L7H also ensures the implementation of methods to prevent waste, reuse and recycle waste, and responsibly dispose of it.

The world belongs to all species within it. As an intelligent species it is our responsibility to ensure the safekeeping of the planet. In the current scenario, where there is a lot of deforestation and over-exploitation of resources, we take it on ourselves to minimize the negative impacts and preserve the biodiversity of the habitat.
